Ron graduated from Texas Tech University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has practiced as a licensed professional Engineer in the State of Texas since 1977, and he achieved his LEED accreditation in 2006. He has provided engineering consulting services for various industrial facilities, commercial buildings, school, residential subdivisions, and environmental facilities throughout the United States. Ron has also work at City of Tomball as Interim City Engineer and Interim Chief Building Official. He currently serves as the Interim City Engineer in Conroe.
Ron has participated in the writing of several Manuals of Practice, including:
- MOP 8 DESIGN OF WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS (3 volumes) Water Environment Federation
- MOP 11 OPERATIONS OF WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS (2 volumes) Water Environment Federation
- URBAN STORM RUNOFF QUALITY ASCE
He has also helped write two ASTM Standards dealing with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. He currently writes the weekly column, WINE WALK, in The Courier, and he is starting a winery in downtown Conroe. Ron is also active on two non-profit Boards. |
